Lead Attribution

The useful attribution question is not only where the lead came from, but what happened next.

A business may track clicks and form submissions while losing visibility after the enquiry enters a call system, course platform, CRM or sales workflow. Better attribution connects enough of that journey to support decisions.

Start with the decision you need to make

Tracking should answer a business question. That might be which campaign creates qualified enquiries, which source produces purchases, or where leads stop progressing after acquisition.

Preserve first-touch and latest-touch context where useful

Different attribution views answer different questions. Preserving campaign context before a lead crosses into another system can make later reconciliation more reliable.

Connect forms, calls and platform events

A complete journey may include a website form, a phone call, a course-platform signup, a purchase or a CRM status change. The implementation should connect only the events that materially improve decision-making.

Do not replace working tools without a reason

The integration layer should preserve useful systems and fill the missing connection. A new CRM, call platform or analytics tool is not automatically the solution when the real problem is an incomplete handoff.
